Richmindale College uses a 15-week semester term. An academic year covers three (3) semesters, one (1) of which is optional: Spring semester, Fall semester, Summer semester (optional). The optional Summer semester is not considered in identifying student consecutive enrollment.
The Spring semester starts in January, the Fall semester starts in September, and the Summer semester starts in May.
The following table contains the planned start and end dates of each semester from Fall 2026 to Fall 2027. Richmindale College may change these start and end dates. Students and applicants are notified of the changes at least 30 calendar days from the semester start date.

Students have access to their online courses seven days a week including holidays. Richmindale College employees do not work on the following holidays:
