General Rule
Students may cancel or withdraw using the reasonable methods published by Richmindale. Refunds are calculated under the current Academic Catalog and Enrollment Agreement. Any money due to a student is refunded no later than 30 calendar days after the applicable cancellation or withdrawal date.
Five-Day Cancellation
A student receives no less than five calendar days after executing the Enrollment Agreement to cancel and receive a full refund of monies paid to Richmindale, subject to any more protective applicable Arizona requirement stated in the current catalog and agreement.
Courses Never Started
Richmindale refunds 100% of tuition charged for a course the student never starts. Fees are refunded or retained only as permitted by applicable law and the executed Enrollment Agreement.
After Classes Begin
Richmindale applies its time-based 15-week semester refund policy. For refund purposes, the withdrawal or termination date is based on the student's last documented academic attendance or academically related activity unless applicable law requires another date. For students enrolled in two or more semester-credit courses, each course is treated separately for tuition-refund calculation.
Administrative Withdrawal for Academic Disengagement
A student who has not demonstrated documented academic engagement in a class for 28 consecutive calendar days is subject to Administrative Withdrawal after required notice. For refund purposes, the applicable withdrawal date is determined under the catalog's refund provision using the last documented academic attendance or academically related activity.
