Eligible students may request an approved Leave of Absence for documented mitigating circumstances under the current Academic Catalog.

An approved LOA may extend the anticipated graduation date and change course sequencing. It does not add attempted credits and therefore does not by itself increase the attempted-credit maximum timeframe used for Satisfactory Academic Progress.

The separate contractual calendar completion period in the Enrollment Agreement is treated according to the agreement, applicable law and documented College approval. Any authorized extension or tolling is recorded in the student file.

An approved LOA carries no additional institutional charge.
