Course Description

This course explores interpersonal communication, emotional intelligence, relationship building, and conflict resolution strategies as part of the essential skills needed for effective and positive interactions in both personal and professional settings. This course covers the fundamentals of interpersonal communication; managing personal emotions and recognizing the emotions of others; active listening and empathy; strategies for managing and resolving conflicts in a constructive manner; building and sustaining relationships; developing skills essential for effective teamwork and collaboration in diverse group settings; and cultivating personal and professional networks to build a robust personal and professional support system. This course requires PSY-101 as a prerequisite.
