This course covers college algebra; patterns, symmetry, and fractals in art and design; problem solving; symbolic logic; set theory; functions; relations; operations; inductive and deductive reasoning; computer algorithms; mathematics in scientific discovery and exploration, medical research, and healthcare sciences; mathematics in social and environmental sciences; mathematics in business; and personal finance.
