Course Description
This course introduces basic concepts on the function, design, and implementation of computer operating systems. This course covers the role and importance of operations systems; process management; memory management; file systems; input and output systems; security and protection; distributed systems; virtualization; and emerging trends in operating systems. This course requires ICT-103 as a prerequisite.
