Course Description
This course provides a foundation for the organization and architecture of computer systems. This course covers digital logic design; data representation; processor organization; instruction set architecture; memory hierarchy; input and output systems; pipeline and parallel processing; computer arithmetic; control unit design; and emerging trends in computer organization and architecture. This course uses the C programming language. This course requires ICT-101 as a prerequisite.
