Course Description

This course examines the principles, strategies, and practices involved in designing, implementing, and managing educational curricula; and explores the instructional methodologies, assessment techniques, and integration of technology to enhance teaching and learning to improve instructional quality and foster innovative educational practices. This course covers curriculum development; curriculum models and approaches; alignment of curriculum and standards; instructional design and strategies; assessment and evaluation; technology integration in curriculum; differentiated instruction; professional development for educators; and cultural competence in curriculum. This course requires EDU-601 as a prerequisite.
