Course Description

This course explores the key components, functions, and regulations involved in the banking industry and the global financial landscape to gain insight into the role of banks, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies in fostering economic stability and growth. This course covers the overview of the financial system; banks and other financial institutions; banking operations; financial markets; central banking and monetary policies; regulatory framework; financial risk management; financial technology (FinTech); global banking and finance; ethical and social responsibilities in banking and finance; and emerging trends and innovations in banking and finance. This course requires FIN-101 as a prerequisite.
