Course Description
This course provides an overview of the underlying legal responsibilities in business. This course covers ethical, statutory, and regulatory compliance requirements and guidelines that define the appropriate activities of business organizations to maintain order and protect the public; contracts and agreements; and intellectual property rights. This course also covers the general structure of the court systems and dispute resolution in the United States and some other countries around the world. This course requires BUS-101 as a prerequisite.
