Course Description

This culminating capstone course requires students to synthesize and apply comprehensive knowledge gained throughout the program to an applied, real-world business software development project. Working independently under faculty guidance, students analyze organizational needs, design scalable software architectures, execute development or system integration, and test functional solutions. Students complete the project through structured milestones that include business requirements analysis, solution architecture, software development or systems integration, testing, security and ethical review, implementation planning, technical and user documentation, iterative faculty feedback, and an authenticated demonstration or defense.
