Course Description

This course explores the different parts of financial statements for deeper understanding and provides methods of analyzing the reports to understand business financial performance. This course covers general ledger account analysis; income statement analysis; balance sheet analysis; statement of cash flow analysis; bank reconciliation; retained earnings; comparative analysis; ratio analysis; capital expenditure and other asset accounting considerations; extraordinary items accounting considerations; and auditing compliance requirements. This course requires ACC-101 as a prerequisite.
