Course Description

This course explores the principles, processes, standards, and tools that are used in financial accounting. Financial accounting involves recording, analyzing, summarizing, and reporting relevant business transactions using globally accepted accounting standards and best practices. This course covers bookkeeping; reporting of financial statements, such as income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows; and software applications used in accounting. This course requires BUS-101 as a prerequisite.
